What is the nearest airport?
Duluth International Airport (DLH) is the closest airport to the venue. Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) is approximately a 2.5 hour drive.
Is there a hotel room block?
Yes, we have room blocks at The Canal Park Lodge in Canal Park (this is where the grooms will be staying) and the Holiday Inn on The Hill. See "Travel" for booking instructions.
When should we plan on arriving in Duluth?
We will be starting the festivities on Friday evening! We'd love if you can join us for the whole weekend. Details on Friday events will be posted here once they are finalized.
What is the address to the venue and how far is it from Duluth?
Ivy Black is located at 6910 MN-194 in Saginaw, Minnesota which is 25 minutes from Canal Park at 15 minutes from The Hill.
Will you provide transportation to and from the venue?
Yes! This is a party and we fully expect those who wish to imbibe in the open bar, or don't want to deal with the hassle of driving, to take the bus. The buses will make stops at both Canal Park and The Hill.
Where will the ceremony be?
Weather permitting, we will be exchanging vows outdoors. The ceremony will be brief!
What should I wear?
Please wear formal attire (no jeans). We understand Minnesota summer temperatures can be unpredictable and plan to have a short ceremony outdoors.
Can we bring our children?
Sorry, but we ask that you keep your children at home or at the hotel. Both hotels can provide recommendations on childcare, if needed.
